1. At Around the Hounds, I firmly believe that everyone deserves the highest level of privacy available. When you give Around the Hounds your Name, Address, and Email, this information is only used to ensure the sales transaction can be completed. I will never re-sell, or re-distribute any of your private information to any party!


2. Current method for payment for customers is either by credit visa, mastercard or paypal


3. PayPal is an account-based system that lets anyone with an email address to securely send and receive online payments using their credit card or bank account. If you make a purchase, and you are not a member of PayPal, a sign-up window will automatically open up for you.


4. Shipping and Handling is based on an average cost of shipping to a address anywhere in North America. We currently ship all packages regular airmail to the US, Canada and International destinations.Please allow 7-10 days for ship times to Canada and the US other countries will vary.By shipping light packet Air it keeps our shipping costs reasonable but does not allow us to provide a tracking # and unfortunately we can no longer replace of orders lost in the mail.If you would like your package sent by registered mail...Please e-mail us and we will give you a quote.This option is strongly recomended for international orders.

5. At Around the Hounds, I do not mass produce collars. All items for sale are individually made by the Around The hounds Team. I import trims from all four corners of the earth. Often the seller has a limited quantity available for purchasing, and as such, I have a limited number of collars available to sell to you. "Sold out" usually indicates the item is temporary sold out , and I expect more similar trim to arrive shortly. Occasionally a collar will sell out before I am able to post a sign, in this case I will contact you with options....Choosing another, waiting until trim of fabric is re-ordered or a refund.

7. Yes I do, but
I can only make it to a few gatherings each year. If you wish me to be a vendor at your gathering, please contact me.

We try to answer all e-mails in 1-2 business days but occasionally during our peak times it may be 4-5 days
depending on the urgency of your question. Please note, e-mails coming in during the week end will not be answered until Monday. If you are contacting us by phone please note that we will accept calls during our business hrs only: Monday-Thursday 9:00-4:00 pm EST, otherwise you can leave a message and we will get back to you in 1-2 business days.


10. EVEN EXCHANGES ARE ONLY GIVEN IN THE CASE OF DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED MERCHANDISE, AND AWARDED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS, WITHIN 14 DAYS OF INVOICE DATE. As unlikely as it is, should you receive your collar and find any defect in the construction/design, or stain, flaw, etc., please notify me via email and explain the problem. I'll request that you then mail the collar back to me, at which point I will either exchange it for another of the same value, or I will issue you a credit.

Please note: Because every dog wears his collar differently and because of the vast range of fabrics we use I do not guarentee fabric against normal wear and tear but if you have a problem with stitching (as unlikely as it is) we will be happy to repair (a repair charge may apply)

A word about breakage: The chances of your collar breaking are slim to none. However, please examine the collar from time-to-time to ensure that nothing is breaking down or that the dog has not scratched or chewed weak spots into the webbing.


A word about buckle collars: I do not recomend buckle collars be used as tie out collars, these are to be used as walking and house collars only. Please note, although I use the most premium buckle closure I can find, I do not guarentee the buckles against breakage with wear. Please check your collar regularly for signs of wear, and replace accordingly.

RETURN POLICY ON ALL OTHER COLLARS

CHANGED MIND, DIDN'T LIKE, INCORRECT SIZING, COLOR NOT RIGHT ECT....
Are NOT refundable or returnable...Because we are a small operation and custom cut each collar to order, please consider color, design and sizing carefully when placing you order.

Email me with any questions you may have regarding these issues before you order.

 

11. Because of the large number of requests I recieve for donations I am unable to meet all requests...However I do have a monthly quota that I fill. For your group to be considered please send an e-mail to [email protected] and we will try our best to accomodate.


12. Our turnaround time varies depending on the time of year.....During the Slower times of the year Jan -Mar we can usually get your collar made and in the mail in 1-5 days and then expect 5-9 business days in the mail. During peak months, you can expect 1-3 week delivery time. Occasionally your order can be held up while I wait for a shipment of materials (web, hardware, trim, fabric) but I will try my best to keep you informed.

 

13.To clean you Around The Hounds collar I recomend placing the collar in a knotted pillow slip or laundry bag, with tags removed, machine wash on delicate using mild temps and detergent.Air dry on a towel.
