Distinctively styled, custom Martingale and Buckle collars for the discriminating hound. Reflecting trends in fashion and design, you will find that we are constantly adding new designs and there is always something fun and fabulous to come back and see.
We are known for innovating the Satin wrapped lining and with certainty you will see no exposed webbing on any of our collars. Only the softest fabrics will wrap Around your Hounds.
Every element, every detail of construction in your dog's collar is taken very personally at Around the Hounds
Using only the finest materials, we custom craft each collar as ordered.
You get to pick collar design, size, width, hardware, and even in most cases lining color. We happily call ourselves perfectionists and when we hear our customers rave about our craftsmanship and fabulous styles, it gives us our greatest satisfaction.

I have been a dog lover my whole life, and can't remember a time growing up that I didn't have my basenji girl at my side. Life just doesn't feel right without the company of a dog.
I started making collars in 2002 as a way to provide exquisite collars for our greyhounds Casey and Isabelle, fundraise for dog adoption groups and provide some part time income for my family. The business quickly blossomed into more than full time as we began catering to the all-breed market, I soon realized I had to work 24/7 just to keep up.
Feeling slightly overwelmed and a little out of balance I Eventually hired some incredible employee's who share the same love of design, keen eye for detail we are now able to keep up with demand and I get to once again play with my hounds & family as well as keeping a fresh eye out for new,fab designs.
My goal is to be constantly updating and bring you the freshest new designs and trends in my fashion influenced style of collar making. I strive to lead not follow the crowd.
I diligently source materials from all over the world, to bring you an exquisite array of fabulous French Jacquard trims, Chinese Silk brocade, Indian Sari, rare Vintage Trims, as well funky novelty trims and preppy stripes and dot collars.
Being a certified Interior Designer and dog fanatic, making beautiful, stylish, functional collars and accessories has fulfilled my passion for design and my overwhelming desire to help the hounds in need. I generously contribute merchandise to dog rescue and adoption groups all over the world.
